Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Scott DeWitt is the absolute 100% reason for my review being 5 stars instead of 3. He was a great installer, timely, respectful, genuine, and did the job right. Everything else unrelated to his work wasn’t all that impressive. Thanks Scott for the top tier work.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a glass block window put in my basement crawl space. They did a great job and they were quick and efficient. Would have them out anytime.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We discovered this company while visiting relatives in Ohio. Since our initial contact to replace two sets of French Doors, the entire process has been exceptional, simple, and the products are of the highest quality (while not the priciest in the market!) No hesitation to recommend this company to anyone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Keith came out to review and quote our project. He was timely and informative. Then Thomas came out to install the windows - he was early (AWESOME), polite, completed the task quickly, and cleaned up after himself. We are happy with our windows too - they look great. We'll definitely work with this team again on our future window projects.

Egress windows, or escape windows, provide exactly that: a safe place to exit your basement in case of an emergency. By installing an egress window, you’re not only complying with many building regulations for your home (egress windows are required in basement bedrooms or any basement with a living space), but you’re also letting more light in and allowing for better air flow in that part of your house.

Will it fit into the decor of my home?

We know what you’re thinking: “boy, adding safety, light, and fresh air to my home seems great, but what if it’s ugly? Don’t you have to dig a big hole?” We get it. Lots of things that are safe are not stylish: although the masks are getting better! We’re here to tell you: you have complete customization power over the appearance of your egress window and well.

Do you want your well to look like beautiful textured rocks, so that rain water cascades down it, making you feel like you live in a majestic castle in the mountains? Do you want to look out your egress window to a warm and cozy wooden well, while you sit in a rocking chair with a good book and a strong cup of coffee, giving you all the cabin vibes? We can do that for you*!

*Book, coffee, and rocking chair not included*

What are the limits to customization?

We know while you were cooped up at home during quarantine you dreamt up some wild home improvement possibilities. There are some specific regulations in a custom egress window to keep things safe, like making sure the window and well are the proper size (9 ft²), and ensuring you have the right type of cover should you choose to put a cover on it (it’s gotta be strong enough to hold up Sasquatch if he pays a visit). As long as those tests are passed, you can get as specific with your customizations as your imagination wants! Just be sure to work with one of our professionals.
