Bilco Classic Series – Steel Basement Doors
Bilco classic series basement doors provide direct access to a home’s basement. They are equipped with a factory-applied polyester powder coat finish and cured at high temperatures, making them especially durable and chip-resistant. Large items like furniture can easily move in and out of a space through the door’s wide opening.
Ultra Series – Polyethylene Construction
Ultra series basement doors from Bilco are exceptionally easy to operate and require no upkeep. These polyethylene constructed doors won’t rust or rot, and the textures (simulated wood or driftwood color) match most home exteriors and won’t need to be painted.
A unique advantage to the Ultra series is that they have an interchangeable side panel insert that allows light or more ventilation into the basement easily.
PermEntry Precast Concrete Basement Entrance
PermEntry is, by and large, the quickest and most economical way to ensure safe and immediate access to your basement. Ideally, PermEntry entrances are installed in new home construction, though they can be installed on existing concrete foundations as well. Inside, Bilco PermEntry doors have a precast concrete stairwell and a Bilco basement door.
The stairwell is precast in one piece, and is of exceptionally high-quality manufacturing. It is thoroughly vibrated for maximum density, and adheres to rigid specifications to ensure safe and fast emergency egress access from your basement. The Bilco basement door is either made of heavy gauge steel construction (classic series) or polyethylene (ultra series) with no maintenance needed. The basement door is weather-resistant and has a side bolt locking mechanism for added safety.
